It has been an interesting few years since the deceiving presence of the muslim from Kenya Barry Soetoro was inaugurated as the leader of the Republic and placed in a privileged position known only to a select few. He played many an investigative reporter well, having convinced them that he was a reasonable man whose aspirations were to see an end to racism, sexism, the misuse of the freedoms of speech and religion as battering rams of the misguided misogynistic manipulators of the greatest nation on the face of the earth. Did I mention yet that he is a muslim?
He boldly went where no semi-black person had gone before. He became the head of the pyramid of power in not only the free world but the emerging world as well. He fooled the leading pastors of the day into ruining their reputations and losing the followings that they had and the influence that their books as adjunct study guides to the Scriptures themselves had become. He sought and was given the nod of approval by the leader of nearly every major religious group on the planet. With the exception of Jerry Falwell and Billy Graham whose private audiences with him must have made the spirits controlling him quake in their boots to be in such close proximity to the Wisdom of the Ages and the Spirit of the Living God. The meeting with Rev Falwell came before Barry was on the low road to infamy and Rev Grahams meeting in the Oval Office itself.
Amid the prayers of the faithful and the importuning of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob for understanding of what His will might be, and how this President fit into His plans, a sense of foreboding rose. The collective realization that many had praised a fraud, put their x next to a name that stood for everything that they had been taught to avoid, and had looked with expectation to what this man would bring to America. Heads hung in shame. Faces were colored deep in embarrassment and questions were asked about how we could have been so easily fooled. Our path to this point in time was rife with error and pitted with the potholes and crevices of the enemies successful deception. But now good people, let us not fall into further error and sin by “sucking it up” and raising our heads heavenward as if we had come to the end of our penitence. Do not make the error of the stoics and accept our current positions of humiliation as a fatalist might. Go to your knees, confess your error and sin, turn from the sin that so easily enveloped us and ask Him what He wants. The gloom will lift and the fog will dissipate and God will reveal to us all what our next steps are to be. Be patient and believe in His promises. He is not finished with us yet.
